Professor LI Xiaoyun is the Honorary Dean of China Institute for South-South Cooperation in Agriculture (CISSICA) and Chair Professor in Development Studies at China Agricultural University. Professor LI is Chair of the Network of Southern Think Tanks (NeST)and China International Development Research Network (CIDRN). He received the national honor of China Poverty Reduction Award 2017, and was nominated as China’s Top 10 Figures in Social Innovation.
Professor LI has been a senior expert for Chinese government and international agencies, such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, the United Nations, the Europe Union, GIZ, the Department for International Development and international NGOs working in China, Africa, Asia and Latin America. He was a visiting Professor at LSE and Oslo University and visiting Fellow at Germany Institute for Development.
